From Jared Leto’s gross gifts to Margot Robbie’s terrible tattoos, the cast seemingly stayed in character even when cameras weren’t rolling. When Jai Courtney stopped by Conan Thursday, the Australian actor recalled a time when he chased the film’s director David Ayer around set.
Oh, and he was naked.
“He used to pay visits to us in our trailer at base camp. You’re shooting a big movie and it takes a lot of time to get things done. I’m chilling out and he would kind of rock up uninvited,” he told host Conan O’Brien. “He came into my trailer one day, and I mustn’t have had any clothes on.”
I really hope that one day I will see this movie about Andy Whitfield. The one we know from “Gabriel”, “Spartacus: Blood and Sand”, “The Clinic” etc. Talented actor that left us to soon because of the cancer. Movie is about his struggle, about those who staid close to him, one of who was Jai, we will see him there also.
R.I.P Andy… we miss you, we really do..
In a quiet little movie called Divergent, a brute named Eric intimidates a new faction pledge named Tris (Shailene Woodley) with his bulging muscles, gauge-like piercings, and neck tattoos. Eric, played by actor Jai Courtney, is tireless in his pursuit of brawn and business. Courtney, however, is neither an American from a dystopian future—though he’ll play yet another post-apocalypse soldier in the forthcoming Terminator reboot—nor a particularly strict rule follower. He is, in fact, a big, smiley, sarcastic, self-assured Australian. (Who, incidentally, possesses bulging muscles.) When we meet for a round of dirty martinis at The Leadbelly on New York’s Lower East Side—a clubhouse that looks like your best friend’s parents’ basement, complete with old records and sepia-toned photographs—he’s gearing up for the release of yet another movie in which he assumes the tough guy role.
God he’s hansom!!!
PS. New layout coming soon, I hope this year, but not sure will I make it that fast:)
